The Chaldean chart

How each letter is valued

The Chaldean system assigns every letter a value from 1–8 based on vibration, not alphabetical order. Notice that 9 is left empty — in Chaldean numerology it's considered too sacred to assign to a letter.

1 — A, I, J, Q, Y
2 — B, K, R
3 — C, G, L, S
4 — D, M, T
5 — E, H, N, X
6 — U, V, W
7 — O, Z
8 — F, P
9 — reserved, unassigned

FAQ

Namank — frequently asked questions

Why does Findmyank use the Chaldean chart instead of Pythagorean?

The Chaldean system is the older, sound-based method historically used across Vedic and Indian numerology, which is what Findmyank focuses on. The Pythagorean system, common in Western numerology, assigns letters in simple alphabetical order instead.

Should I use my full legal name or nickname?

Try both. Numerologists commonly compare the vibration of your legal name against the name you actually go by day-to-day, since both influence how you're perceived.

Does changing my name change my numerology?

Your Namank will change if your name changes, since it's calculated purely from letters. Your Moolank and Bhagyank, based on your birth date, never change.
