AnkJyotish was built around a simple idea: the three numbers at the heart of Vedic numerology — Moolank, Bhagyank and Namank — deserve calculators that are accurate, fast and free of clutter. No forced sign-ups, no drawn-out quizzes, no paywalled "premium" reports for basic arithmetic that anyone is entitled to understand about themselves.

What we do

We maintain three focused calculators — one each for Moolank (root number), Bhagyank (destiny number) and Namank (name number) — built on the traditional methods used across Indian numerology: digit-sum reduction for birth dates, and the Chaldean letter-value chart for names. Every calculation runs directly in your browser; we don't collect or store the dates or names you enter.

Our approach to numerology

We treat numerology the way it has traditionally been treated in Indian households for generations: as a reflective, cultural tool for self-understanding — not as scientific fact or financial, medical or legal advice. Why "AnkJyotish"

Ank means "number," and Jyotish means "astrology" or "the study of light." Together, the name reflects exactly what we do — using numbers as a lens on the light already present in a life.
